The accommodations were clean, roomy and as advertised. It was quiet for
the most part. Could hear some door slamming in the A.M. but thats
expected. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of kayaking pictured
rocks ( just a few miles away!) -

We go to The Ford and Greenfield Village several times a year. This hotel has a shuttle to both and the airport. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are always very nice and helpful. A lot of work has gone into updating it, but also keeping it's charm. -
Wait staff: Mary in the bar and all the servers in the restaurant were exceptional.

the staff was very friendly and helpful. I have a disability and they were happy to help me to my room and even helped me get my dinner. Very nice and efficient. -
We liked the fact they are pet friendly. Our room was clean and the hotel was nice and quiet. The pool was very nice as well.

Classic small motel in the UP of Michigan. Very clean and great value. Nice breakfast. Had an outside and an inside entrance to my room. Pool and hot tub indoors. Very convenient to Houghton. -

Check-in was efficient and night desk mgr., was polite and helpful!
Room was clean and everything operated well. It appears the property is undergoing some updating and renovation...but it didn't interfere with our stay. Great value in an in-demand location between Novi/Northville and Farmington Hills. -

I just loved everything about the hotel. The cool atrium, the glass elevators, the brick pool area and very ample work-out room. The rooms were large with excellent views. Best value for location. Hotel shared almost all hotel spas and pools in Mackinaw City. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Views not the best but can get to any park or lake front property easily for best views. -

We could walk out of our room onto the beach. The staff was more than accommodating in every possible aspect. The staff was friendly and polite. The facility was clean with a well-maintained beach. Breakfasts were more than I expected. Pretty much continental style with a lot more choices. Kid friendly with arcade and indoor swimming pool. All around, it was a very enjoyable experience for my wife and me.

Everything at this hotel was very nice. We were pleasantly surprised by the swimming pool - often hotel pools are very shallow and small, but this one was 8 foot deep at one end and large enough to accommodate several guests at once.

A truly enjoyable experience. We arrived at 11:30am for a 3pm check-in and were able to get a room (with a river view) right away. The room was clean and so comfortable. There were plenty of towels, extra pillows and blankets right in the room. The location is perfect for an evening downtown and parking is convenient. Or never leave the hotel

Located right in the middle of downtown Grand Rapids and withing walking distance of museums, Van Andel Arena, and Devos Place to name a few...using the skywalk ajoining most of these made walking nice during the cold weather.
