We loved our secluded rainforest hideaway, with the flowering colour & constant trilling of the birds & chirping crickets. Inside the cottage we found an intriguing tapestry of colour & creation combined with modern facilities. The proximity to the volcano was superb which enabled us to capture many memories of our visit. -

The owners are very kind and the B&B is clean and cool. The breakfast is perfect. The night before they leave you a paper where you have to choose what would you like to have for breakfast.

This is a unique lodging. Each room is very different. The bathrooms are very large, great for relaxing after the airplane flight. The grounds are large with good views of the local countryside. Quiet and private.
For those who want spacious accommodations, this is a certainly a location to consider.
Parking is easy and location is less than a mile to many shops.
Good location for arriving and departing Big Island; the airport is about 40 minutes away by car on good roads.

Loved the Rain Forest outside our 3 glass sided walls and the privace, can hardly see another cabin. Staff placed nice selection of snacks, teas, etc in room.
Also, short 10-15 min drive to Volcano.

Amazing apartment in the centre of everything - with a parking space. So well kitted out and immaculate. We never expected beach chairs, snorkels, masks, boogie board, beach umbrella, all there in the laundry cupboard there just to borrow - what a bonus. This place has a some kind of a charm that might not be obvious at first
glance. It felt like living in a real Hilo, not just a random hotel that
could be the same anywhere in the world. It`s not shiny and new but
clean, comfortable, peaceful and taken care of. Open lobby was great

hole jump, wow too many to mention, just ask them when you get there. Oh

Lovely breakfast with lots of fruit. There was always someone of the (very friendly) staff around whom we could bother with our questions. For $10 we could rent an underwater camera to take on our snorkelling tour - we even got a great shot of a sea-turtle! Tanna, the host, is a lovely person. You can borrow whatever you want... (snorkling gear, DVDs, Picnic gear...)
You can use the house like it's your own. There is planty of soaps, shampoos, bathtowels for the beach, beach umbrella, beach chair for use...
If you need help for booking anything, just ask Tanna. She knows the island like a grown up.
And the most important is that you can sit in a hot tub after a long day out... just heaven
