  We (young couple - 28 yo) stayed in this hostel during one week to visit ny. We spent a very nice time at this place. The bedroom (economy-cheap) was little but nice, confortable and clean (queen bed, sink, mirror, window). We had a shared bathroom always clean and available (morning and evening) ! The breakfast was very nice (cereals, some fruits... ce que les gens disent » , bread, bagel, hard egg, jam, butter, honey, tea, coffee, milk, juice ...). The location was perfect to visit Manhattan, very close to metro, between - Frankie at the front desk was wonderful. The location was very close to the 8th avenue subway station which was a nice line to ride and see the city. The breakfast was delicious and the other guests were friendly. The water pressure in the shower was good (a plus for me). The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job cleaning the room daily. Very quiet during our stay both from other rooms and from the outside. There is a grocery store on 8th ave between 22nd and 21st (2 minute walk).

  We stepped off the street and into the past. What a place to stay at. One of the highlights of our stay in America. We were met by Felicia, the gracious hostess, and shown around the house and to our room furnished with period furniture with the mod cons discretely available. Breakfasts were a delight in the formal dining room setting of a col... ce que les gens disent » onial home. We were given a code for the front door so we could arrive at all hours and immediately set off to a nearby subway to see the town. Felt s - Kiki, I guess the house manager, has been brilliant. She has fixed our room arrangement issue and has been helpful on many other things. We love the room setting - very homy and luxuries at the same time, bathroom/towels are very clean. Have to mention the breakfast too - good selection and extremely nice dinning room.
