My boyfriend and I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was,
especially with our dog who was staying with us. When we arrived there
was a framed "welcome" for Bob our puppy with treats and water
for him. The "raid the mini bar" credit was a great touch and

The fact that the hotel was so small made it so you saw the same front
of house staff everyday. It made everything feel very familiar and
comfortable. The concierge was a great help in choosing a show and
getting us great seats at the very last minute. The front desk was
accommodating when we asked to change rooms as well. The room, although
small, felt very comfortable and not too crowded.

It was my daughter and son's first trip to NYC and coming by train it was a very convenient location. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful and locked our luggage after check-out so we could sightsee. The beds are extremely comfortable, room was clean and I felt very safe travelling alone with two young children (10 and 5yrs). The staff were just excellent. Requests were responded to immediately, and the bellmen were wonderful. On several occasions they and the concierge gave us great advice about transportation, places to eat, and things to do, and they always were smiling and friendly.

I liked the location of the hotel, the room was nice with a very comfortable bed and pillow and great view of the City from the 20th floor. The staff were very good also. We upgraded to the Sheraton Club on the 21st floor which was nice, it had a great view of the City and Hudson River. It is not a luxury hotel but is very comfortable and affordable.

The staff are fabulous, very friendly, professional, cannot do more to help. The pool is great - at times (weekend afternoons when the sun is out) it is quite a "scene" which might annoy someone looking to relax but it is what it is (and at other times it is very relaxing). The restaurants are very good and the rooftop bar/club PHD is great on a Saturday (although be aware that it is run separately from the hotel so after 11 or so, being a hotel guest does not guarantee access). We arrived to a great staff, great location. Wilson put us on the top floor with a fantastic view of Brooklyn. We had a 12 and a 9 year old with us and the hotel was close to the top of their list of sites that included all of New Yorks hits. 12 year old got sick and the staff let us check out late and even sent toast and ginger ale to our room

friendly and helpful. We especially thought Victor Balbi was most
helpful, patient and accommodating with our needs for directions in
getting around the City by Subway and planning our day sight seeing ny.
He was always so pleasant & greeted us with his wonderful smile
& friendly greeting when we got back from our day's outing. He
certainly made our stay & visit to ny pleasant & enjoyable. Paul

returned for another stay for my wife's birthday in November 2013.
I was surprising my wife taking her out then to the Hotel because she
loves it here. The lady at the front desk asked me if my wife was
outside when I made reservations and I told her how it is a surprise

Absolutely excellent customer service. I can't speak highly enough
of their courtesy, friendliness, and desire to make us comfortable. I
was there with my elderly mother, and we will definitely recommend the
hotel to others. They made us feel as if we were visiting friends, as if
we mattered. That's highly unusual in my experience, and I've
stayed in hotels of every caliber. Kudos to management for training each
