The position is simply perfect to visit Manhattan, very close to Times Sq., the 5th Av., the theater distr. and a couple of strategic subway stations. Location was excellent... On 51st St. between 5th and 6th Ave. Right across from Radio City Musical Hall, and the Rockefeller Plaza/Center, plus the Subway station was around the corner.
The room was a bit small, but comfortable enough for 3 (2 adults & one kid). The small fridge and microwave were a plus! The lobby is small compare to other big hotels, but it was quiet. The staff was always nice and helpful. I will stay there again!

The Hotel was very good for me, I was not expecting the good surprise, considering that I made the booking in less than a week. The room was clean and looked very modern, The bathroom was amazing, it didn't have a bath tube but just a shower but still very modern and clean -
Staff were very helpful, they know the city like the back of there hand. If you want to do anything just as the staff. No bellboy which is brilliant for first time travellers to the states, no awkward moment when your not sure what to tip. Wifi in every room so when travellers that come from far away wake early in the morning because your time clock is all screwed up, you can go on the Internet and check out things to do in New York. It was our first time with my friend in New York and the hotel was perfect for us as it was 10 minutes walk to time square. We would walk easily from time square to the hotel after 12am.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us any information we wanted. They also organised taxis - at a rate negotiated by the hotel which was cheaper than the regular taxi rate and stored our luggage (checkout time is the usual 12.00) and we weren't leaving New York until the evening. We arrived at the hotel about 3 hours before check-in to drop off our
bags but to our surprisement, our room was avaliable and we even got an

I absolutely loved the Sanctuary & would return in a heartbeat! I
was travelling alone for business but it would be ideal as a couple or

When we arrived we were allowed to check in two hours early, and were given the choice of two different rooms - that was very kind and we got a big room as a result. The location is pretty great as long as you don't mind a bit of walking, but that's the same across New York. A bit expensive, but again, that's just New York. I'd stay there again -

The location! Just two blocks away from Time Square. Unbeatable for this price. Plenty of foodshops around.
The staff: the receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful (thanks Joey! ;-) + they can arrange transport to the airport, which was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back there on a next trip to NYC.
