We were sent to a room initially that had been cleaned but then it looked like someone had come afterwards to shower and dress (used razor in shower, empty perfume bottle, towel and robe used, etc.) The staff was very apologetic, sent us to a better room and sent up a bottle of red wine.   From the moment we arrived to when we left everything was just perfect. We drove to nyc and we were pleasantly greeted immediately. The staff was warm and welcoming. Our room on the 11 th floor was perfect. Just enough room. Great design and spotless! I give this hotel an a+. The location is great, close to east village and soho! The location is great because the subway is just a block north of the hotel and it is in the heart of a revitalized district of of New York.   We came to marry in nyc and sent in advance a request to be on an upper floor. We were immediately replied and we were upgraded to a corner room. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by champagne in our beautiful room, and were also given treats later on. The staff were attentive to any question, request or whim we had.   This hotel is fabulous. We unfortunately only got to stay here one night, but the staff was more than accomodating to us and all of our needs. It's classy, clean, well worth the money, and was a very large room with the one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. HIGHLY recommend this hotel. - The fact that the hotel was so small made it so you saw the same front of house staff everyday. It made everything feel very familiar and comfortable. The concierge was a great help in choosing a show and getting us great seats at the very last minute. The front desk was accommodating when we asked to change rooms as well. The room, although small, felt very comfortable and not too crowded.

We have stayed at the hotel at least 4 times and we plan to go back soon. - For our first visit to New York we wanted to do it properly and the Hotel on Rivington was fantastic from start to finish! We were well looked after by all the staff and it offered everything we wanted. A Room with a stunning view of the city, a soft bed and in a great part of town.
