I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in mid November. I have seen people raise there eyebrows when they learn this hotel is situated in Tenderloin area (which is considered a bit shady area). Staff is very friendly, location of the hotel is very good, just 15 minute-
walk to market street, also if you have car, car park is very good and
also there is a door between the car park and the rooms for the
security(it's openned by the reception). The area is not secure
especially at night but there are two routes which you can reach at the
hotel, one is more secure.(the lady in the reception has explained us

There is no negative thing i would mention.
The room was new and clean. Breakfest ok. Really good position of the hotel is just perfect (about 10min to the Town Hall)! The park place is small but all the guests found a place while we were there.
And finally yes, there are some homeless people arround the hotel, but we didn´t feel uncomfortable or

I very much enjoyed my stay at Casa Loma and would recommended to everyone on a thigh budget. As a single female traveler I felt very safe and location is pretty straight forward to get you ti central of SF. The only thing I've missed was a kettle as there was a small little fridge in a room ans missed my morning coffees as hell! :( There is a vending machine within hotel premisses but make sure that you always have enough change or otherwise you will walk for miles to get cup of tea! The room was well kept and I was on the Eddy side but on the 4th floor as long as the window is shut it was quiet. Free wireless and the morning paper were a pleasant suprise. - Nice, quiet, clean and good location

complimentary bottled water and cookies in the afternoon. As a guest,
you get a discount at the adjoining cafe, which providing a convenient
breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They held my bags
at the front desk after I checked out, while I got my rental car. The

Ideally situated for everything. In Union Square in 2 minutes and easy access to all forms of transport. Staff were friendly and helpful and the diner next door excellent. Everything on the doorstep. Being in the city centre meant it was noisy at night but earplugs were provided. We slept very well without resorting to them. Very happy with it all and thoroughly recommend the hotel.
