What a find! The breakfast and happy hour at Petite Auberge are the BEST we've ever experienced in a B & B/Boutique hotel. Very generous describes the staff and the food/wine. Our room was cozy (with gas fire place) and decorated so beautifully. Very comfy! We will definitely stay here when we return to S.F. We also met some delightful fel

The location was only a few blocks from public transportation. There
were many eating places of all types nearby. The hotel is slightly
uphill; it is about 3 blocks of moderate incline but there are different
routes that can minimize the uphill walk. The hotel is very nice and
clean with amenities I did not see available at other hotels such as
bottled water, coffee, tea, hot breakfast and cookies. It is an older
building but well maintained. The service was friendly and the

We enjoyed our stay but thought it was a bit overpriced.
The breakfast room is small but it is a federation home. The staff got in the way a bit when trying to make breakfast.
