The location of this hotel is very good for the tourist. Downtown Boston is not vast ares so during my 2-day tour in the city I didn't use any transportation, merely on foot. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the starting point of the freedom trial, and along the famous trial I could see everything I wanted to see.

Comfortable, fast and convenient for Boston Marathon.
Staff really stepped up to help serve those who decided to remain in the hotel in the aftermath of the marathon bombings. Even the doorman was working to bus tables at the very busy restaurant!

The location was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming with the exception of first arrival, the valet's didn't seem too thrilled or overly enthusiastic as we weren't sure exactly what to do. The hotel was beautiful and spacious as were the rooms.

Tranquilité - Everything - the staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was lovely and the location - perfect. We've stayed right in the city before and much preferred the Sonesta's location. For the first time I have experienced that the room was just as nice and big as the pictures on the booking page showed. Do upgrade to a junior suite with a cityview, It gave us a cornerroom with a 150 degree wiew abling us to se the whole of the winter sunrise while getting up in the morning. Wow! The staff was very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean! Bed very comfortable. I asked the cleaning person to leave me more coffee for the room and left some money for her to take. I had more coffee and she left the money! I did leave it when we left! Close to great shopping! Close to Fenway. Near excellent dining. The Bell Hops were very nice!

Our reception on arrival was warm and friendly. This was our first visit to Boston and as it was early evening we were able to quickly obtain the information we needed regarding where to go to eat.
The room was clean and fresh with all we needed. However only 1 tea bag so for tea drinking Brit's this was a concern!
Location excellent for everything we wanted to do. Close to duck tours, good restaurants and only a short walk to Boston Common

Rooms were very comfortable and in high standard. The staff was very helpful, overall facilities were fantastic (I recommend the bar :). Location is good, close to the metro, so you could be in the town in about 15 min from the moment you leave the doors of the hotel. If you travel by car, there is a free parking provided. -

Eating facilities just right. Comfortable lounge area. Clean, modern and relaxed atmosphere. Helpful staff who responded sympathetically when my daughter was unwell and the manager offered her a room at a competitive price which made a big difference to her welfare. -
