For the price it had everything I expected and more. While small the spa area and exercise area were superior and the staff GREAT. I just wish it opened earlier than 9 am. The staff was very good as was the business center ( small but adequate). I would stay t here again and would recommend it to others.

It was in a perfect location for conference at a Union Square hotel as well as shopping and entertainment. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved it.

I loved the service at the hotel. A small misunderstanding initially and immediately comped a couple of services for me. Was there for 6 fantastic days at a very peak period at high price but absolutely worth it. I was made to feel very comfortable especially as a woman travelling alone. Great location. Every single staff member we encountered went way beyond the call of duty to make sure that we enjoyed our stay.
We must commend Bill Sutton, Head Concierge, and his staff for especially excellent service. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Francisco.

We had a wonderful stay with our family- the rooms are bit cramp, but we
knew this. We wanted to stay near union square and that we did. We were
able to really enjoy everything in walking distance. We would return
again. We normally stay around the corner but after such a lovely stay
at The Sir Frances Drake, we would definiltey stay there again.

Beefeater and staff friendly
Pizza and wine tasting hour great, met interesting travellers at the hotel. Bed very comfortable.

Une situation géographique idéale, un Spa digne de ce nom, un décor trèsintimiste et cosy, un personnel extrêmement professionnel et en mêmetemps chaleureux avec accueil personnalisé, des breakfasts fastueux, unbar à l'ambiance un peu jazzy... This hotel is "top drawer" all the way! - The hotel was quite grand, and very luxerious in the common areas. The location worked well for us, as we seemed to be no more than a 10 minute cab ride from just about every where we went. The view from our Tower room was the clincher. We had a beautiful bay view.

You can walk to the piers from this hotel, its .8 miles away so not bad
at all. I suggest parking in the lot across the street from this hotel,
its $27 a day as opposed to $50 for Hilton parking (although it isnt the
