We also loved that breakfast and was served Monday each morning, and dinner was served Monday thru Thursday for free, with very good hot and enjoyable meals. moment we checked out. This was one of my best stay at any hotel and I
have stayed at many hotels. Management did an awesome job in choosing

I loved everything about the Blake Hotel. The staff was fantastic. My room was very comfortable and I felt very safe in this location. It has an onsite restaurant that serves good food and it is very close to the French Quarter, Canal Street shopping, the St Charles St trolley and only a 10 minute brisk walk to Cafe du Monde. Loved everything about the hotel! The location was perfect for us - a short walk from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, but far enough away that it was quiet at night. Also loved the restaurant downstairs for a quick, convenient meal when we didn't have time to stop elsewhere. Our hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. I read other reviews that said the rooms weren't nice, but ours was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

I liked that it was in a quiet street but only a five minute walk from the hub of activity. I absolutely loved the Ruby Slipper right next door for breakfast every morning, why go anywhere else!! This place rocks!! The hotel has a general laid back feeling and Thomas at reception was a most helpful and genuine guy. A gold star for him! Or perhaps

wonderful staff made you feel at home -- very helpful and joyful -- kept the room clean while we were there for 5 days -- had great recommendations and were interested in your adventures in New Orleans; and best of all the whole hotel is non-smoking!!!!!!
and you can't beat the location -- access to all of NOLA at your fingertip! Can jump on any streetcar to take you around town; walking distance to French Quarter; Warehouse District and the Riverfront.

The staff was great. Very helpful in my planning my day. Very friendly and enjoyable to just talk too. They knew great places to eat and see. The hotel is in a good location. Close to the things I wanted to see and transportation. The hotel prices are affordable for people on a budget. I enjoyed my stay. I will be back. -

This place looked little tired but the rooms were large, very clean,really great location with lots of eating places near by also street car straight across road and the staff very very helpful. Breakfast was also included and was really nice and large selection. The only negative was that we stayed the weekend of Jazz Festival and the room price nearly doubled but we would certainly stay there again loved it

I loved this hotel! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend. I use to live in New Orleans, but this was my husband's first visit and we had a blast. I liked the fact that the hotel was very well maintained and quiet although it was located very close to the busy section of the French Quarter, which I also liked. I came as a solo traveler in the middle of the night because of a late flight, and even though the staff had confusion about who was supposed to be in which room, they handled it just fine that evening and in the morning when we switched rooms to get it straightened out the way we were supposed to be. Staff was excellent and the hotel was in the perfect location in a
quieter section of the French Quarter (but still close to all the
action). The room and hotel in general were very clean and comfortable
and looked recently renovated. We were very pleased with our whole
experience.
