  Room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Unusual to see hard surface floors in the room, but made me feel better about cleanliness, potential bug issues. We arrived around midnight after an international flight. Ricky at the front desk was so welcoming and sweet. Our room, #612 was extremely quiet and restful. Lovely modern room with a huge really comfortable bed (more comfortable than the bed on the cruise ship that we joined a few days later). We couldn't check in til 4pm but not a problem as we left our luggage there so we were able to start our tour of New York. We all wanted to stay in the same room but a typical 2 double bed set up in most hotels would not have worked and having two rooms in a typical hotel would have meant us being apart and would have extremely expensive.
