They do not have elevator, the internet is only in the lobby and the breakfast is too simple, but almost all of this are cited in the hotel description. Friendly guys at reception, possibility to leave suitcase there after check-out (for $4), there was even breakfast included in the price (very very basic though, but all I need in the morning is a coffee to get me going :-), easy to meet fellow travellers (the people staying there were all really communicative and friendly and interesting to talk to) in the lounge, which is the only place to get free wifi on your mobile or laptop in the hostel

Frankie at the front desk was wonderful. The location was very close to the 8th avenue subway station which was a nice line to ride and see the city. The breakfast was delicious and the other guests were friendly. The water pressure in the shower was good (a plus for me). The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job cleaning the room daily. Very quiet during our stay both from other rooms and from the outside. There is a grocery store on 8th ave between 22nd and 21st (2 minute walk).

It is a nice and quite hotel. Rooms are convenient though not luxurious and beds very comfortable. Internet is included and fast enough for the backpacker to do occasional research on restaurants, facilities etc.Location is ideal to visit Manhattan, harbor etc.

Très propre mais très petit, notre chambre était microscopique !!! L'emplacement est idéal, il s'agit d'un coin paisible à quelques minutes à pied de Time Square. We arrived an hour early and were let into our room which we didn't expect. Staff were very friendly at reception and gave us free spanish tapas vouchers for use at the bar in the hotel. Lovely modern room with a huge really comfortable bed (more comfortable than the bed on the cruise ship that we joined a few days later). The staff. The library was a nice place to meet guests at breakfast time. The breakfasts were great and superb value. Lovely feeling about the place and nice local bar on ground floor. Very quite for such a central location. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Loved our short stay here. Great location and charming inn - more like staying in a home than a hotel, which is especially hard to come by in New York. We had large, comfortable room on the main floor. Friendly staff (and friendly cat!), cozy breakfast room. We liked the bar downstairs as well. We will definitely come back here another time.

so you can easily take a train for the main us cities. The Chelsea area
is quiet and some attractions as the rockfeller center and time square

This was a fantastic hotel for a nyc break. 10 minutes from time
square and just down the road from Hell's Kitchen Flea Market at
the weekend (a must visit). Excellent staff willing to help at all
times. Room was ideal, perfect for 2 people sharing..when people
suggest they are too small I wonder want they want the room for? This
was a city break

The location, staff, and cleanliness of the room. Excellent all around!
The location is a few blocks from The Port Authority Bus They don't
do room service every day, but if you need anything (towels, trash taken
out, dishwashing soap, etc.) the staff is super responsive and so nice!
The kitchen comes with pots, pans, and storage dishes so we could cook
in some nights and save a bit of money. We would stay here again in a
heartbeat.
