Location is great. Staff was very helpful. We were sent to a room initially that had been cleaned but then it looked like someone had come afterwards to shower and dress (used razor in shower, empty perfume bottle, towel and robe used, etc.) The staff was very apologetic, sent us to a better room and sent up a bottle of red wine. Waking up to a view of High Line Park and the Empire State Building. Comfortable bed, quiet despite being in the middle of the city and great shower. Staff we're amazing. We went to celebrate my partners 30th and they help arrange champagne and chocolate Strawberries for our arrival in the room and managed to upgrade us and give us an early check in.

Loved the convenience of the drive up and valet, although $50 wa a little expensive.
$265 room with 2 lunch salads and 1 small pot of coffee and a bottle of water (room service) and valet put the room charge to $460. Ended up being pretty expensive for one night. We may consider staying again, but more expensive than we expected.

I loved the large rooms and bathrooms and the beautifully tasteful renovation of the old Seminary building - very classy. But especially the location near the High Line for walking and near Chelsea Market and all the great restaurants. The staff was super accommodating an genuinely nice and there is a gourmet coffee/tea bar in the lobby with lovely fresh backed goods for the morning.

The Jade is in an excellent location (right smack dab in the middle of Greenwich Village) and is surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly, prompt in service and accomodating. The location is great because the subway is just a block north of the hotel and it is in the heart of a revitalized district of of New York. The room I stayed in was both functional and just the right size for a solo traveller or a couple.

The room was clean and comfortable although the outlook from the window was onto an unspectacular building! However the room was quiet and relatively peaceful after the noise of New York city! The hotel was in a great location for subway, jazz venues, small restaurants and eclectic shops.

A very nice hotel, extremly nice staff (among the best I met). A calm and attractive place to stay and rest after a hot New York/ Manhattan day. Nice bar and a very good restaurant in house. Always fresh water and some nice snacks every night in the room. Stayed 8 nights and will gladly come back. A summer stay when the out door terrrace is open.

We came to marry in nyc and sent in advance a request to be on an upper floor. We were immediately replied and we were upgraded to a corner room.
Upon our arrival we were welcomed by champagne in our beautiful room, and were also given treats later on.

asked for a room on a high floor and we ended up with the most amazing
view which made our trip unforgettable. Even though the lobby and
restaurant was under construction the experience the hotel as a whole
was very satisfying. It did not bother us at all. I will recommend this

What didn't I like?? It was at a great location 5-10 mins walk to Empire State and Times Square. Subway is only a block away. You have a 24 hour organic deli across the road Bread and Butter. Korean food and restaurants open till late. 15-20min walk to Chelsea and soho. Les Halle's french restaurant is just across the road!
