We were traveling on Amtrak. You should advertise with Amtrak, to their
customers. They need your services on their layovers. Some persons ride
the train because they are afraid of flying or they have lots of
children, not because they can't afford it.

Spacious, relaxing, location.
We were traveling through on our way home and made a last minute stop. The staff were happy to accommodate. When we arrived, there weren't enough luggage carts so the staff actually helped out and cared ALL of our luggage to our room. We'd been on vacation for over a week so we had a lot of stuff. -

The rm was very spacious and had a great view of the riverwalk. The bed was very comfortable. We had trouble with the first rm; the key card wouldn't work but front desk apologized and was very helpful with giving us another rm. -

The marriot was in an exceptional location for shopping and sights. The sole purpose of going was these 2 things so it was perfect for our needs.
Situated right on riverwalks door and part of the rivercentre what more could you need.
This hotel is also just a 10 minute walk to the alamo where you can see part of USAs history -

hotel and you are there. Underground hotel parking was so convenient.

I liked the location of the hotel. It's very centrally located by the Rivercenter and other attractions that we were able to walk everywhere we needed. The hotel staff was friendly and the room was better than we had expected. Our overall experience was great. -

10th floor and they gave us a room on the 19th floor. Beautiful river
city views at night. Close to tourism sites Construction going on at

The young man at the front desk was wonderful, I believe his name tag said Eric Rodriguez. We had many questions about San Antonio and wanted to make sure we went to children friendly places. He was a wonderful help, and very, very polite. The room was spacious and comfortable. Having the microwave and refrigerator in the room worked out wonderfully for the little ones. We were there for two days, it was wonderful. I will definitely stay again when I return to San Antonio!

This is an old, historic hotel. As such, it has charm, character,
elegance and comfort but do not expect modern amenities. For example,
the older wing has only one small elevator. This is not a hotel
appropriate for families, but great for couples, business travelers and
retirees; anyone seeking beauty, peace and quiet, and something
different from cookie cutter hotel chains.

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 week touring vacation of
southern states in the U.S. 1 night of which we spent at the Fairfield
Inn & Suites San Antonio Downtown.
We had done a fair amount of research as to where to stay in San Antonio, somewhere peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to the touristy things in San Antonio, (The A

Upon arrival at the hotel, the valet parking guys were eager to assist, after driving for 7-8 hours, a welcome sight. T -
Staff was excellent. When checking out, I discovered that I had left my
credit card at a eatery on the river the night before. The young lady at
the desk was very helpful in helping me track down the name of the
restaurant and calling them to locate my card. The manager had my card
and she arranged for me to meet him and pick it up. Thank you for your
extra effort in resolving what could have been a very inconvenient
exercise of credit card replacement.

I liked every aspect of this hotel. The rooms were beautiful and felt
comfortable. The showers are huge and everything is well taken care of.

I loved the location and the B&B style. Being right in the center of
the Riverwalk center; we felt like we were miles away once we walked in
the front door of the Vista. The breakfast was perfect, cookies and wine
at 5. Best weekend get-away ever!! Our room was beautiful and very
clean. Check-in was incredibly friendly and welcoming!
