  The hotel is extremely beautiful, in an amazing location, perfectly maintained, and the service was impeccable. A friend had recommended staying in the original building. As an appreciator of history and architecture; that was a good call. It's fun people watching and there is great Asian food in the area. - EVERYTHING!!   We only stayed one night but what a night it was, a memory to last a lifetime . Halekulani was indeed a tranquil oasis in the midst of the Waikiki bustle. True to its name of "our house befitting heaven" - The staff was superb. The food was excellent and the setting tranquil, yet right off the main Waikiki drag.

  The rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Service was excellent - very friendly, polite and attentive (and continued this way after my stay when I left my sunglasses behind).
