  This was the first time I stayed at a Motel 6. From the reputation of being a low budget hotel, I didn't expect much. I was happy to discover that the room was very well maintained. Everything was in excellent condition. The bed was more comfortable than the one I have at home.   We were just traveling through to our vacation destination in California. Had wanted to travel further south, but reviews looked a little shaky we knew we could count on cleanliness of a Red Lion.
