  The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are very modern and well kept. No noise during the evening hours, and you cannot hear other travelers in their rooms.   The facade of the facility is very beautiful but the rooms need updating. The room I stayed in seemed a bit run down. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom's faucets and shower faucets were all rusted and dirty looking like cleaning solution was placed on them but they were never cleaned.   Our daughter is at Springfield College and we have been looking for a hotel that is close and nice ! We found it in this hotel . It has been totally remodeled . Rooms are very nice, pool and lobby very nice . Breakfast was not included in price but was very good. Hopefully it stays this nice for the next 4 years of her college stay .   This was a great choice when visiting Amherst. It is only 20 minutes away, and easy to get on and off the highway. - The hotel and bars/restaurants in side were excellent. Champions was great on game days.
