  Because the "Alex" is the only Hotel that I have stayed in in Odessa I do not consider myself an expert. But having stayed in many hotels around the world I will say this rate highly. The friendly service with a good level of English spoken was foremost. My room was a pleasure and the location very quiet yet convenient.   I stayed in this hotels one night as had stoppover in Odessa.The hotel location is petfect as it in city center 2 minutes walking to the shops,cafes and restaurants. It near famouce opera theatre and primorskiy bulvar. The hotel had WiFi and business facilities. The location was close to restaurants, site seeing and night life. It was a quiet, low traffic street. I could walk to most places of interest. For example, the opera house and Irish Pub were only 2 blocks away.

  I simply liked that everything was close,shopping of all kinds,center of town and the sea.And most of all,I appreciated the staff at the reception area. - Everything is fine but the behavior of the guards. The staff are very nice, pleasant and welcoming.
