  Because the "Alex" is the only Hotel that I have stayed in in Odessa I do not consider myself an expert. But having stayed in many hotels around the world I will say this rate highly. The friendly service with a good level of English spoken was foremost. My room was a pleasure and the location very quiet yet convenient. For example, the opera house and Irish Pub were only 2 blocks away.

  I simply liked that everything was close,shopping of all kinds,center of town and the sea.And most of all,I appreciated the staff at the reception area. - Everything is fine but the behavior of the guards. The staff are very nice, pleasant and welcoming.
