The hotel was so clean throughout, you could eat your meal off the floor! Breakfast was great. Our bedroom was beautifully and tastefully decorated. My boyfriend and I went for a romantic, restful weekend and that is what we got. We will definitely go again!

Everything was perfect. The staff, the food, the room everything was just perfect. Its also a great location just between windermere and bowness. Brilliant stay, fully recommend. - excellent accomodation clean tidy value for money breakfast was very good and plenty to eat from our personnal point of view we could not fault it at all

Annesdale is close to the train station and an easy walk to shops and restaurants in Windermere. The hosts of Annesdale are very friendly. We appreciated that they gave us (and our luggage) a ride to the train station. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our own sitting room and garden complete with a table to enjoy a quiet time outside. -

I have stayed at many B and Bs in this area and this surpasses the lot (and it's a lot cheaper than many of the others) Great location. - Great location. Safe and easy walk to both Windermere and Bowness. Food was unbelievable. Huge choice and excellent quality. Dining room is modern and there was a good atmosphere at breakfast time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our budget room was clean and cofortable. Perfect for our stay. Limited parking on the premises but lots of free and unrestricted parkining across the road.

Steve and Vicky are very hospitable owners and personaly very nice people. One can feel they put their hert into this their work. They helped us a lot long before our travel by answering our questions (best choice of the Lakes tour, walking paths, arrival to WIndermere etc.)

Ideally located between Bowness and Windermere. 10-15 minutes stroll either way. Steve and Vicky are the friendliest B n B people that we have met (stayed in over 12 other B n Bs). Invergarry is such a welcoming place. The bed was really comfortable. We stayed in a small double but this was a reasonable size for a couple of nights and didn't feel small. Breakfast was delicious - homemade muesli, jam and marmalade. Best breakfast that we have had in a B N B. Really lovely touches in the rooms -

Debbie is a wonderful host and we will more than definitely be returning here if we were to travel to the Lakes again. The room was very tidy and exactly what you would need from a B&B, if not more. There was even a television with DVD player and a huge selection of DVDs to choose from - excellent for one of those rainy evenings. The breakfast

The staff are the best asset of the hotel as they are very hospitable
and friendly. I would like to personally thank Debbie who assisted us
and attended all our demands. I would certainly recommend the place to
my friends who will visit the place also to travellers and tourist who
are looking for comfortable and convenient but very affordable
accomodation.

The owners, Simon & David, were very friendly & welcoming. The breakfast was great, with a good choice of dishes. There were some nice little touches, like providing tissues etc. The beds were very comfortable too. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay, great breakfast. Heather looked after us and any made us feel really welcome. We were given a choice of two rooms on arrival which was great. Nothing was too much trouble. Heather was a lovely women who made me and my fiance very welcome.
The guest room was very clean and well presented and we had everything we needed and the breakfast was to die for. Heather always made sure we had everything we wanted or needed during our stay.
The location of Chestnuts was very good because it was a 15 minute walk to the shops and 20 minutes to the nearest lake.
Me and my fiance will be going back there very soon...

The room was lovely and clean and despite its small size, had

Leigh, the owner, was fabulous she was very accommodating, beautiful
accommodation. Fab location, within walking distance of two towns. She
covered all the bases re local information and was fab value for money.
We didn't fancy full English so continental breakfast served to our
room was a lovely treat and included in room price, lovely touch. We
will be visiting again.
