we stayed here at the weekend with four other couples ' and all of us really enjoyed it . rooms were lovely ,my husband and myself stayed in the 4poster bedroom which was beautiful and clean . the other guest all had the superior rooms and all were very pleased with them.i was a bit worried when bookingfor four other couples , but they all said it was lovely and would all go back to the queensland.we were all made very welcome ,and are all planning to go back in the summer .i would like to say t - Gillian

Stayed at Discovery and Starfish Accommodation a few times now and I cant praise the place enough - staff are brilliant and nothing is a problem ( including me turning up on the wrong day ! ) The apartments and cottages are absolutly immaculate and are so well equipped they have everything u can need and every time i have been eveerything looks brand new . They are placed ideally for the harbour and everything that Whitby has to offer - the harbour is five mins walk at most . The only draw back - Gayle

I have stayed at this B&B twice a year for the past 8 years (we go to Whitby Gothic Weekend) and always enjoy our stay. The couple who run the business, Mick & Sheila, are lovely and so is their dog! We are always made to feel at home. the rooms are clean & cosy, as is the rest of the building, with comfy beds, kettle & tv in all rooms. I would not hesitate to recommend The Middleham and always look forward to my next stay. - David

This is a lovely little Bed and Breakfast, located on the sea front on the West Cliff, just 10 minutes walk away from the main town area. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, with TV, DVD, Drink making facilities, radio alarms, hairdryers etc provided. The breakfast was great, a good selection and beautifully cooked. There is a bar area where guests can help themselves to hot and cold drinks and snacks, record it and pay for it on departure. There was also a good selection of games and DVDs tha - Francisco

This was our first stay at this hotel - actually our first stay in Whitby. The service in reception upon arrival was exceptional, and in the restaurant, morning and evening, was speedy, yet with good humour. The menus were interesting and varied and we would recommend a stay at the Saxonville to anyone who values a well-run establishment with the service of a standard which is quite rare nowadays. My wife and I had not a single criticism to make. - Stephen

On arrival at the hotel we were greeted at the door and promptly shown to our room. From the photographs I'd seen on their website I had quite high expectations but the room exceeded them! It was beautiful! I loved everything about it! I love old buildings anyway so it was a treat to be staying in a victorian villa, and the way in which it is decorated it just oozes character. The only thing that may have made our stay even better would have been an ensuite bathroom. However, the shared bathr - Stephen

I have just stayed here for the second consecutive weekend. I am a well experienced global traveller so more than a good judge of hotel standards. The hotel setting is fantastic, quiet and peaceful but very convenient for visiting Whitby and the North Yorkshire moors. The ambience, created by attention to detail, meticulous cleanliness and committed management, is perfect. We only stayed for one night midweek. Parking can be a problem but after telephoning Guest house and asking for advice we were directed by proprieter Janet to a particular area and we did find a space a couple of streets away without having to search too hard. I believe it is better at weekends though and August is the busiest month. We received a lovely welcome, the room was spotless and welcoming, lovely crisp white bedding and plenty of tea & coffee making facilities and toiletries. The - Roy

We stayed here for one night as a last minute 'before we have to go back to work after two weeks off !' trip away and, as usual, we needed somewhere Dog friendly to stay with Gypsy the well travelled Lurcher ! We happened upon the Seacrest by pure chance and we are glad we did. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were all treated in a very friendly, welcoming manner and nothing was too much trouble. Couldn't agree more with the reviews below. I usually stay in hotels when on holiday or away for weekend breaks but this time my girlfriend and I thought we'd try and bed and breakfast. We stayed at the Willows in early October and had a really pleasant stay. The rooms were decorated nicely, they were clean and cosy and there was a good selection of DVD's to watch when we got back to the room in the evening. The breakfasts were really nice. Every morning we were met with a warm welcome a - Riobert
