  The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully decorated and a lot of thought has gone in to providing extra comforts for guests such as tablets, fresh milk, excellent coffee making facilities, home-made biscuits and fruit in the rooms. The food was generally wonderful with a good range of fresh food for breakfast and we had a lovely relaxed evening meal in the Potti - it's very intimate and well decorated, our room was a comfortable size, very cosy and had everything you need (from Nespresso coffee machine in the room, to courtesy biscuits and water). Staff is friendly and the all experience is very relaxing. Also the food is very good, both at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast in the morning!

  This was a special family trip to revisit places from 61 years ago. Age range of our party was 56 - 85. We were made to feel like part of the family and the staff could not do enough for us. The facilities were great, rooms comfortable, tea facilities in the room were second to none, The chef definitely can cook, his food was fantastic. Simon (boss) even advised where we should go site seein - Staff are warm and friendly adn efficient with a great sence of humour. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always smiling. The room we had was light, large and comfortable and spotlessly clean as were all other areas. They clearly work really hard to keep this place nice. Had dinner and breakfast there and the food is really tasty, well cooked and mostly sourced locally which shows in the freshness and flavour

  The hotel was absolutely 1st class! It was modern, well set up, professionally run. The facilities too were excellent and the staff were very courteous and helpful.   Hotel staff very efficient and courteous, room very clean and comfortable, restaurant excellent. - Room was excellent value for money and staff friendly and efficient, I only wish I had time to make full use of the leisure facilities. Very nice to have a freshly cooked breakfast rather than the usual help yourself to dried up food!
