Food was hearty and really tasty. The breakfast was cooked fresh and was piping hot and the staff were relaxed and not clock watching which made a nice change!

I liked the very thoughtful touches - the good supply of decent coffee, the supply of toiletries, the dressing gowns and slippers. I like the fact the hotel was very quiet and I liked the garden. I liked the tasteful decor. There is a good ambience. I felt as if I'd had a restful stay somewhere lovely. The breakfast was good too. I liked the fact that there was no problem with parking. I was visiting Bath and parking is a nightmare so I decided to stay at the Northey and have no hassle.

After a few City hotels this was a breath of fresh air and gave us the relaxing vacation we needed. The rooms were very large, the beds so comfortable, hard to wake up for the delicious breakfast that was included. Dinner options available and certainly worth reserving the food was amazing. Can't decide on deserts, well go for their mini desert option - get to sample them all..... we were made to feel at home by the owners and the staff were super and so helpful. We loved it.

I stayed in the hottest part of 2013 and my room in the attic was very hot and with the windows open very noisy. After a very long day exploring Bath we arrived quite late and tired, but we were welcomed like old friends, made to feel very much at home. The room was tastefully decorated , clean and spacious. breakfast was excellent and even a request for extra toast was met with a friendly smile. The gardens are classic english cottage style and add to the restful atmosphere. Just a great place to stay.
