1. Simple old fashioned coaching inn with "Ghostly" history.
To be fair, we arrived were attending a party nearby, had B/Fast
next morning and left so didn't make use of the pub etc. The
staff were fine and there had been a slight mix up over booking
B/Fast however the owner really went out of his way to sort us

Very friendly staff with good food. The breakfast was delicious but beware of the portion size (huge). The coaching inn is in the centre of Devizes. Ask to see the cellars as they were part of a tunnel system that ran all around Devizes in the old days. Room No. 4 is said to be one of the most haunted in England.

We had such a lovely stay at the Trimnells House. The owners were so kind and hospitable! They even went out of their way to make us breakfast early one morning when we had to catch a flight. After a very long day exploring Bath we arrived quite late and tired, but we were welcomed like old friends, made to feel very much at home. The room was tastefully decorated , clean and spacious. breakfast was excellent and even a request for extra toast was met with a friendly smile. The gardens are classic english cottage style and add to the restful atmosphere. Just a great place to stay.

Parfait. Famille propriétaire du bandb très accueillante et sympathique.Pas de restaurant dans le bandb mais beaucoup de possibilités assezproches. Très bon petit déjeuner le matin. Was greeted in a friendly manner. The room was fantastic, not only verypretty, practical and well laid out but very clean and very tidy. Jenny is a fabulous host and cook. She is friendly and helpful, with good advice for travellers. There are two large lounge rooms, books, toys, games. Everything! We had a very friendly greeting and taken straight to our
room as we were tired travelling, served tea and biscuits on our own
little veranda in a beautiful garden setting. The acommodation was
spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated, much thought having gone
into the comfort of each guest. The best breakfast selection we have
ever had and pleanty of it! Fabulous relaxing stay, and Jenny was just
wonderful, we loved her!!!!

Even though we arrived slightly early Steve gave us a very warm welcome. The cottage is very nicely furnished with lots of homely feel. We enjoyed sitting in a quiet and beautifull garden in the heart of the countryside.
The breakfast was very good, with lots of fresh coffee. The room was large, clean and well decorated, with superb views across open countryside. A great place to stay.

Graham and Teresa offered a wonderful welcome (so did Alfie the dog!). The setting is beautifully tranquil with a delightful garden in which to enjoy your book and friendly cows in the neighbouring field! Comfortable facilities, good bed, excellent shower, quiet location but
you need a car to access. Friendly hosts, good breakfast although served
at communal table with guests from the other two rooms. Short drive to
excellent food at local hotel, and handy convenience store and atm at
service station. Shared kitchen facilities /fridge could be useful
if staying a bit longer than our brief visit. Garden is very nice

Lynda and Colin made us so welcome and even rang ahead to make sure they had the correct information about our gluten-free diet which was outstanding. Lovely, comfortable and spotless suite of rooms for my daughter/husband and two small boys (with games for the children) and a spacious, beautiful room for me. The breakfast was a holiday experience to remember in itself. A lovely surprise near enough to Longleat to make a super stop-over.

Nice rooms and very clean. Good bathroom and great English breakfast (including a vegetarian option). Plenty of helpful advise as to what to do to best enjoy the beautiful town which was a reasonable stroll from the B&B. Parking facilities were good. A bit of a shame we only had one day here as it was a nice place to stop on our road trip and

very friendly staff. *(full english)breakfast was great. the location is quite near to the town centre and there is an old castle ruin very nearby.
our triple room on the first floor gives a panoramic view of the field and distant village. there is parking for our rented car.
so on the whole, we are happy with our stay.

Very friendly people, father with daughters running the place. We received a lot of good travel advices. Food was very good and they were very flexible regarding food for our children.

me and my husband stayed here monday to friday and had a great holiday our room was clean and very comfy breakfast was really good and plenty of it , we go to a lot of hotels in GB as my husband will not fly and this was one of the best places we have stayed will be back and will be recommending to friends and family , Gill was very nice and saved

E It was a beautiful location, far enough away from Bath to relax and yet accessible. It was lovely to be able to get up when we wanted to and make breakfast in the way we wanted it. The bed was huge and everything was clean and tastefully decoraed. The owner was very friendly and we loved her cats.

All communications prior to arrival were welcoming and reassurring.
Upon our (unfortunately late) arrival, we were warmly greated by Lois and John and instantly made to feel very welcome. Their warm and friendly attitude was maintained throughout our stay and was really appreciated.

Some B&Bs might be a bit chea -
We loved it all, the willingness of the owners to assist with any
enquiry and their general welcome and friendliness. We would highly
recommend Spire House to visitors of Salisbury and will return there
ourselves in the future....and for the record we were in Room 1 (on the
front of the house) and were not in anyway bothered by any noise.
