Run by lovely people who could not do enough for you. Excellent situation, 8 minutes drive from Snape Maltings and near the coast. Easy parking. HUge rooms with comfortable beds and lashings of hot water. Fantastic coffee!

I only stayed one night - the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, bright and cool. There was a good choice of food at breakfast, which was enjoyable to eat and included in the price of the room. Also I would add the hotel was within walking distance of town centre. Travelled to Lavenham for a weekend break. It is a beautiful little town, steeped in history with pretty tudor buildings lining the streets. This Great House is set in the market square in the centre of the town and is a beutiful building in a wonderful setting. Our room was beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable and fully equiped with coffee machine & complimentary sherry! The icing on the cake is the hotel restaurant - the food is amazing! Make sure you book your table ahead

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was superb.the bed was really comfortable. we stayed in a kinda annex the room was called Southgate. It was really comfortable. There was a DVD called "Whatever happened to Dunwich" that was entertaining! The meal at night and breakfast was fabulous...and "Mine host" was helpful and friendly....Plenty of free parking and the beach 2 mins away...I'm sure we will stay again

I traveled over to the area for a two day flyball seminar and wanted somewhere that was happy to accommodate my two dogs as well as myself. The owners were great and very helpful. A nice and peaceful location. Only a couple of miles away from Newmarket.
The breakfast was great. Really set me up for the day. A nice added touch to have a little bottle of Actimel to drink.
The room was nice and comfortable and a good size.
Was really kind of Wally to give me and my daughter a lift into Newmarket in the morning instead of having to get a taxi.
If we do visit Newmarket again we would consider staying again.

The staff were very friendly and made you feel very special, the food was excellent. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the suffolk coast. We would not hesitate to return in the future. - Meals were excellent and staff very helpful and attentive.
