Room was very nicely and comfortably furnished, inpeccably clean that it
made me feel at home immediately. There were nearby bus stops but I had
preferred to walk (about 15 minutes to Waverley Station). A large
supermarket (Tesco) is 5 minutes away and so are a number of
restaurants. I went on a day tour that set off early in the morning and
John (the owner) gladly served breakfast earlier than usual for me, so
that was great hospitality. If it were not fully booked, I'd have
loved to stay at M

We (my husband and I) stayed in BB 3 nights. It was a very good experience. People here is very friendly and willing to help for anything. Our room is designed so amazing as Scotland style. It's also excellent with the price you pay. We strongly recommend visitors staying this beautiful and good -serviced BB.

We stayed at Simpson loan 24/7! Fantastic apartment! We loved it so much, that we booked with VIP apartments for our next stay again! Marc is the best, he really takes care of the guests. Easy hotel to relax in and all personnel were very helpfull - The hotel is set in superb grounds and is remote from the village and very quiet. It has great facilities and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Everything was clean, comfortable and of a good standard. The breakfasts were absolutely super - such a pleasant change from bacon and eggs - a choice of fish dishes which were all delicious.
The owner is maybe a little eccentric, but this only added to the overall enjoyment.

The price was nice and the sleep was good: these are main criteria for a good stay. The hotel itself is ugly, massive, chain-like, but people are okay, walking distance to town attractive, there is a park and a river road, so, I recommend this place!
