It's a remarkable place - everything is done with so much care and great attention to detail. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to think about what makes a holiday enjoyable. One of the best places that we've ever stayed at. The owner too is remarkably friendly and helpful. -

We liked everything! Marj and Rose were the perfect hosts. We were there with friends and they made us very welcomed. Keepers Cottage is the first B&B we have stayed in where we can honestly say our expectations were exceeded. The furnishings were of a high standard and the attention to detail made everything perfect - upon arrival we were made to feel welcome and little touches like the chocolates and wine in the room made a real difference. The view from our window took in the castle, countryside and the estuary in the distance, and was stunning. Oh and save lots of room for the breakfast!

Location is excellent, very calm and peacefull, really in the country, surrounded by forest. Our room (burgundy) was beautiful, well designed and very large, and the beds very confortable. Our host was really nice and welcoming, and on our arrival we were offered coffee/tea and welsh cakes.
Good breakfast too !
Everything in the place is calling you to relax and is of very high-quality standard. We really would have liked to be able to stay more.

The owner was super helpful.
He gave us plenty of recommendations on things to do. The breakfast was excellent and he'll make almost anything you would like. Location was nice. Only a short walk from the centre of town. Rooms were well presented and he has plans to renovated this whole place.
He has deals with local restaurants for money off.

Croyland Guest House + Tenby = Perfect match! We stayed 2 nights in Croyland. Very convenient to park the car. Stephen was so nice, gave us a list of places to visit + tip about where to have a good meal. Breakfasts at Croyland were gorgeous! Very welcoming and friendly - comfortable bed and sofa - with plenty of cushions. everything you need with modern TV's and decorations. The breakfast was huge - and the selection was great - full English pancakes, cheese on toast the list was endless. If you want it they would cook it..
Easy parking and just a 5 minutes from the front pubs and restaurants. Steve a Nutter - who had us laughing as soon as we arrived - top family..

What a lovely place with very friendly people running it. Just far enough outside Aberystwyth to be peaceful, yet close enough to get a pizza delivered (and local calls are free from the phone in the kitchen). A fine continental breakfast with truly excellent coffee was provided. We will undoubtedly stay there again. Very highly recommended. -

Everything! I thoroughly enjoyed my six-night stay. My room was spotless, the guest house both friendly and quiet, and breakfast delicious--I especially liked the cherry tomatoes, cheese, croissants, and fruit. Good room. Great breakfast. Excellent service. I was very late coming in from Falmouth, Cornwall. At 7.30 pm, 30 minutes before the latest check-in time of 8.00 pm I was still in Bristol, more than 3 hours drive from Aberystwyth. I phoned the house and informed that I would arrive 11.00 pm and Marlena, the housekeeper said no problem, she could wait for me. I arrived 10.50 pm, and Marlena opened the door after just one press of the door bell.

Stunning peaceful location, very warm welcome, friendly assistance, comfortable and spacious accommodation, generous breakfast, but may I suggest the odd boiled egg. Involvement with the family (3 teenage children) violin concerts. Fresh flowers in the room, beautiful fragrant carnations-a nice touch! Great places to visit in the surrounding area.

We went to Wales for my bithday and stayed for 4 nights at the Tyllwyd Hir. Everything was just perfect. Phil and Jen are incredible hosts and are extremely welcoming and helpful.
The rooms are finished to a very high standard with lovely touches like fresh fruit, organic tea, bath robes & slippers - I could go on forever. We stayed in the red room with stunning views over the hills.
Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with local produce and lots of choice.
