Breakfast choices were admirable. Janet and John are welcoming and very friendly. Janet helped our visit enormously with pre-paid, reduced cost tickets to the local attractions of Hardwick and Chatsworth Houses -- a must pair of house visits.

I was extremely pleased with my stay in the Castle Green B&B. The accommodations were excellent and the hosts were very attentive and provided useful local advise on dining and wining. They also accommodated my special request for an early breakfast as I needed to leave before breakfast time.
Exceeded my expectations and would go back.

On arrival we were warmly greeted and show around the place before we were shown to our room. The room was lovely and had lots and had lots of extras . My first stay at Whitton Lodge and John and staff were very helpful and friendly. I was staying on business and did not have time to use them but there is a small gym a sauna available. The room was extremely clean with tea and coffee facilities and a nice touch was that they provided a white robe in the room. I have business nearby soon so will definitely be back.

Calme dans la campagne près de Derby - le long d'un petit canal avec des péniches de loisir.
Ancienne ferme aménagée très agréablement, notre chambre donnait sur une petite cours intérieure très agréable.
Chambres modernes et bien équipées

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive.
The bedroom was very attractive, with comfortable bed, plenty of space for clothes with hangers. Bathroom was well fitted with a lovely power shower, and nice extras like shampoo etc.

I loved the suite that we had it was first class, there are so many good points about the Birchover eg the sauna, the wonderful kitchen which is fully equipped eg the slow cooker, the fact that the we had our privacy but if we had needed any help there was always someone just a phone call away,now this what you call a truly unforgettable experie

Very clean, spacious apartment with a sauna being an added attraction. The apartments are in a good location of Derby, with a personal touch that you tend not to find in a chain run hotel! Would we use these apartments again - yes we would!

Lovely hotel! I honestly didn't expect that much, as I travel A LOT for business and am rather immune to hotels.... It is clean and well fitted.... the bath was gorgeous and the staff couldn't have been friendlier! We felt a bit underdressed for dinner at the "Pub"... it's really more of a restaurant, but very nice food. Beautiful location, even saw a peacock just outside our bedroom window in the AM! Would definitely come back.

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly, helpful, smiley!!! and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel although situated on a roundabout, you wouldn't have known it, was in a perfect location for seeing all the beautiful places around the area. Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Snake Pass all just a few minutes drive away. Beds were amazing probably the best nights sleep in a hotel I've ever had. Restaurant was brilliant, food really good, and again the staff were fabulous.

On checkin...staff were very friendly , helpful and professional without being too stuffy...they knew the area well with local information to hand...and even though the hotel was near the road...once the windows were closed...you couldn't hear a thing!...comfy bed and very clean...very impressed. ..am looking forward to my next visit!!! -

When we left on the Saturday Morning despite the rain it was lovely walking through the woodland on our way to the Steam railway event. The whole stay was very attractice and very relaxing.

Walked into reception to a warm and friendly greeting. Advice about the hotel and the Beefeater restaurant on the site given. Booked us a table for an evening meal and breakfast following morning. Our room was clean and had everything we required.

Staff were exceptionally helpful. Travelling with our 2 yr old twins, staff put my mind at ease over phone that they would sort the room for us. We arrived at 11pm, receptionist came out to greet us in car park, offering to take bags so we could get children in the warm ASAP. Staff in restaurant so friendly and welcoming to children. Maintenance man v friendly and chatty when we met in corridor.. Cannot praise everyone we came into contact with enough. Brilliant staff, a credit to premier inn.

Very friendly check-in. Youth hostel looks very smart, toilet and shower in our room were spotlessly clean and looked quite new. Room M8 in the mews was quiet and stayed nicely cool thanks to shade from the trees outside. We liked the courtyard outside the mews with benches/tables. Beds were OK. Breakfast was lots better than expected at only £5 p

It was a pleasure to stay at this former manor house. It was particularly interesting to live in the original part of the house, where it made one feel a little bit like in older days. The hostel has a big, well equipped kitchen and a nice small library. The location is very convenient – around 10min walk to Castleton, 25min to Hope and the surrounding park is beautiful. There are also special attractions for the kids in the park, which makes it a good destination for families.
