This was a perfect break. The staff are such a friendly team and really go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed. The views out over the fells make you feel relaxed in the first 5 minutes. A tramp in the sun, a swim, a spell in the hot tub outside and then a good meal - what else could you want for your holiday? -

Had a very pleasant stay at the Dalston Hall, staff extremely helpful(the owner very kindly drove us to the Dalston factory in the morning inthe Hotels Rolls Royce. Boot and shoe pub was a great overnight stay. The friendly owners and staff made you feel very welcome. The accomodation was very comfortable and the food was good. Food was excellent and the whole stay was really good value for money in a great location despite the rain. Staff were friendly and I had a wonderful cooked breakfast included in the rate to start off the day.

After reading some negative reviews about this hotel I was really not expecting much at all. How wrong I was. My two children (age 4 & 8) and I stayed for 1 night. The staff were friendly,helpful and lovely with my children. The food was delicious. The offer of £20 for a four course meal and both children ate free meant we could dine in the h

the staff members were awesome
they looked after our requirements of the menu as my wife didn't want what was on the sweet menu, they said no problem. she asked what do you like and they made it happen. wow impressive
the chief was out standing in the presentation and taste of all the food we had.
we really recommend the food top class at reasonable price.

I came to Penrith for a last minute festival participation and found Norcroft through this site. It is much better value than similar establishments, great breakfasts are made to order each morning and owner Paul bends over backwards to accommodate, he is truly a class act. (He will drive you wherever you need to go if he is available and at a much better rate than the local taxis.)
The place is just off the downtown core and is spotless with nice modern bathrooms. I truly lucked out with this

Bridleway is an excellent location from which to explore the Lake District National Park. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable and our hosts could not be more helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. We would be happy to use Bridleway again in the future. -
