This was a perfect break. The staff are such a friendly team and really go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed. The views out over the fells make you feel relaxed in the first 5 minutes. A tramp in the sun, a swim, a spell in the hot tub outside and then a good meal - what else could you want for your holiday? -

The room was quirky inasmuch that it was on two levels with a beautiful refurbished bathroom, a dressing table area and wardrobe, then up four stairs to the bedroom and sitting area. The Wateredge Inn is in a wonderful location right on the lake. The
views out to the boats bobbing on the lake were lovely. The room was
nicely decorated and comfortable as was the bathroom. The inns lounge
and dining areas were very nice, with again a beautiful outlook. The two
Scottish sisters who waited on us for breakfast were lovely and friendly
as was Ryan the bar man. The countryside around Ambleside was really
beautiful and well worth a longer visit.

Very Dog friendly, very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Tea and cake in the afternoon of our arrival was a nice touch. Central location made it handy for shops, high level of cleanliness and top spec furniture and fittings. Good beer!

Un hotel très typique et au calme - Le fait de profiter du salon avec l'accès wifi est indéniablement d'ungrand confort. We liked everything! The suites are perfect, with lovely appointments.
The owners are exceptionally helpful and friendly. It's very very
clean. It's close to everything at Waterhead and only a mile from
Ambleside, with good bus service to everywhere in the Lake District.
I'd return to the Lake District just to stay at the Quaysiders Club. -

The shower was neat because you could program it to the exact temperature and pressure you wanted it. The provided coffee, milk, biscuits, and hot chocolate were _sublime_. The free WiFi was a great perk. Wonderful ambiance for small get-togethers.

The apartments were newly refurbished and done very nicely. A nice touch was that fresh milk, tea, coffee, sugar and things like tea towels and dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid were provided. The pub adjoining the apartments does good food at reasonable prices. -

It was a lovely comfortable and spacious apartment with unexpected little touches like towels, toiletries and tea &coffee making facilities. It was more like staying in a hotel with the freedom of self catering, although you could dine in the hotel across the road if you wished. Also great to be able to take my dog on holiday. -

We stayed in one of the cottages and it was beautiful. So clean and well maintained, just lovely. We arrived extremely late (00.10) but were greeted with a warm, friendly smile by Steve who was so attentive. appointed rooms in a stunning location. A pleasure to find an
establishment of this standard that serves good honest pub grub at
reasonable prices - just what you need when climbing the hills. Good to
see a hotel supporting local real ale brewers not not just the usual
'fizz' that most hotels offer. Food and drink prices all very
reasonable, nice not to have a shock when paying the food and bar bill.

More than anything, the hosts. The most helpful and friendliest I have ever met. Even if the appartment had been less than perfect (which it wasn't) it wouldn't have mattered because Graham & Janett are just so nice ! Very clean shower ! Loads of space in our apartment. The receptionist upgraded us to a larger room for free which was lovely and served our group much better. He also brought us a whole toy box for our daughter!
We were contacted by text which was very convenient. Breakfast was lovely and the atmosphere was so fun! -
