As a cycling group, several of us arrived late but they kept the kitchen open late to feed us which really was appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up well for our second day of cycling! Lovely place with friendly staff.

We stayed for one night with our three children (aged 9, 7 and 5). The location is wonderful with views over Derwent Water. This is a fantastic place to stay in a perfect location. We travelled to Keswick by train and bus then walked to the hostel.

A most charming inn set in a beautiful location overlooking Skiddaw. I enjoyed my stay very much and the staff were friendly, although the room was small (single) it was clean and comfortable. The meal was lovely alot of food on the platealong with a nice friendly atmosphere in the bar. - i really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and its good value for the money. I recommond it very much.

Good stop-over hotel not far from the motorway. Large comfortable bedroom with meals taken at adjoining restaurant. Meal deals on offer in the evening and excellent breakfast with good choice. Very friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant. Overall excellent value for money.
