Friendly, warm, genuine reception, they really make the effort to make your stay an enjoyable one. Facilities are really good with warm clean rooms. The location (in relation to walking distance to town) is great and the breakfast has to be one of the best I've ever had. I feel that it's more than a service that they provide, they have a genuine need to make your stay a good one.

Angela and Steve are lovely people, the rooms spotless and the breakfast perfectly cooked with enough to keep hikers going all day. The location is perfect for peace and quiet but close enough to Penrith and the North lakes. -
Comfy quiet room with fabulous breakfast and welcoming hosts. Just a few miles to Penrith & all the restaurants etc.

It's a friendly, well-situated B&B with nice staff and a good location. There are nice pubs everywhere, and it's hardly any distance to the bus stop, so that puts the fells and lakes within easy reach. We recommend this hotel. One last hurrah for the breakfasts: if you stayed for a week, you could have a different choice every day. -

The location is fantastic, couldn't have wished for better.
Staff were very friendly & welcoming.
The room was just what you expect in a hostel. The kitchen has everything you need.
And ghe bar/dining area has a nice relaxing atmosphere.
Would certainly stay again. -

Extremely comfortable, quiet and spotless clean accommodation. The single room with the bathroom was just amazing, warm, cosy and the perfect place to go back after a long walk. View of the mountains from the window in the morning is a great start, as well as the breakfast. Howard is a very nice and kind host. Definitely will come back ! -
