  There is nothing to dislike about the Fox and Goose. Our hosts and staff were all very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were very impressed with our spacious room and en-suite facilities both of which had recently been refurbished in a modern style. The pub itself is very traditional and relaxing and offers excellent food. This was our second visit - The food and welcome were excellent at the Fox and Goose. An old pub that has charm and quality in abundance. It is rustic and old downstairs in the bar/restaurant area but fully modernised and beautiful upstairs in the accommodation. Our room was up there as one of the best we have stayed in. The breakfast was something else... totally unexpected and will be difficult to find elsewhere (you must try the bacon!!) 10/10 in all areas.   The situation is spectacular in a valley with a lovely walk to the beach. The hotel is full of character with the bedrooms recently renovated. The bar has an excellent range of local beers to go with the excellent range of locals who were great fun - and if Marcus is still there ask him to find you some mushrooms!. The food was very good. The weekend beer festival at the inn with 3 days of live music made this a great weekend. The food was of a good qualilty. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite
