Fairfield would have to be the best guest house we have stayed in. On arrival we where greeted like family returning home. The welcome glass of sherry on arrival was just what we needed after our long drive. Stuart and Martien are the most amazing hosts, with such attention to detail in every way. Stuart & Martien are excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Although we had a small room it was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything you could want. The evening meal was top class as were the breakfasts. The location is excellent, being in the beautiful Wye Valley near Tintern Abbey and Chepstow and a pub with good bar meals is round the corner. Despite the weather not being too good we enjoyed our stay and would fully recommend this guest house.
