  We loved the location. it served our purpose beautifully. I was extremely satisfied with the assistance I got from the person who welcomed us. they were very flexible and helpful. the apartment was lovely and the area quite interesting, with a lot of restaurant, pubs,french bakery, antiques, supermarkets open even on Sundays and a beautiful park w... ce que les gens disent » ithin walking distance. we sat outside and enjoyed the terrace, the kids played ball ( we were lucky with the weather).   The whole Hilton, paddington experience for my girls weekend was fabulous, stepping off the train and straight in, check in, leave luggage with sweet gentlemen in reception and when we got back and went to our room, it was beautiful, spacious, newly decorated, new, clean, and the bathroom was gorgeous, first class. I am so pleased I tried the Paddington Hilton and will be bac - We were able to leave luggage there when we arrived early. Our room was very nice and quiet. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Super convenient for Paddington Station and for access to other transportation for sight seeing. We had a wonderful stay. There are a variety of restaurants near the hotel including Chinese, Indian and Greek although since we weren't too hungry we picked up a sandwich and dessert from the M&S in Paddington Station and ate it in the room.   The room was wonderful but in part that was because I had 6/7 (both) access to myself. With only a small room on its own - even with an excellent bathroom - I would have found it too small for C21st expectations. On the other hand, the staff(a manager?) was wonderful, including letting me use the breakfast room to do some emails etc. and next morn... ce que les gens disent » ing breakfast was outstanding!! Yes I will be back. It was definitely as described and definitely not a flat pack chain hotel room. It's position in w - So many hotels are identical, and I stay in a lot of hotels! It was really nice to have something that was out of the ordinary for once, yet still in a good location (right next to Kings Cross station) and with functionality ... free wireless etc. A great breakfast, an extremely helpful and courteous staff, overall it made a very good impression.
