Good sized room, everything I needed for overnight stay. Room overlooked garden which was pretty and quiet but imagine it would be a busy (noisey) beer garden in high summer. Decor modern, bathroom with double shower. Location excellent for RHS Harlow Carr visit. Breakfast continental only in price but sufficient and reasonable choice. -

Warm and friendly welcome from Chris and Roy. Offered a choice of room and had a nice one on second floor at front of house looking towards trees and park. This is the best guest house we have ever stayed in. The owners were welcoming and friendly and the whole house was spotless. Our room was modern, comfy and well-equipped and the breakfast was excellent. It is in an excellent location for shopping, eating and theatre visits and parking was not a problem due to the permit system. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Fantastic stay. on arrival we had been upgraded to one of the two bed luxury apartment, the booking agent had also taken into consideration the request for the quiet room which i was extremely grateful of. I really cannot fault the apartment or locality it really was spot on for our needs.
In particular, we bumped into the maintenance guy on the way in and he showed us where everything was and then the following day we wanted to store our luggage as we came on the train and one telephone call to yourselves and we left our luggage with the maintenance guy and came and collected later in the day. You went the extra mile to accommodate us and would highly recommend to anyone who is wishing to stay

We found the owner of the B and B very friendly and helpful and very aware of the needs of elderly people. The breakfast was very good and it was helpful to be presented with tickets which allowed us to park free in front of the B and
B. It was also very useful to have so many good restaurants within easy reach. We also appreciated the way it was arranged that we should have help over transporting our luggage to our room.

Breakfast was great, the hotel is close to the town centre a short walk. There was ample parking. Free internet access was a bonus. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated. I would recommend this hotel. As a small hotel there is no lift so if you have mobility issues this may not be a suitable hotel for you.
