  I booked into this hotel due to its proximity to the Hammersmith Apollo (went to see Josh Widdicombe - great stand-up comedian, fantastic gig!) It's a brilliant, cool hotel for its modest cost, comfortable, clean, with good decor - and the staff are welcoming and friendly! It is situated in a Hammersmith Grove, a lovely tree-lined residential ro... ce que les gens disent » ad, safe and salubrious, and only five minutes' walk from Hammersmith tube station and Hammersmith Apollo. (Opposite the tube station is a very good p - The staff are incredibly friendly, while being laid back. The hotel is an old Georgian townhouse on a lovely street and within a 10 minute walk of shepherds bush empire. There are a small row of shops over the road which is handy, and the grove restaurant opposite is lovely too and was offering a discount to London Grove guests while we were there! The breakfast was good - cereal, yoghurt, fried/scrambled eggs on toast and tea/coffee.the lady who makes the breakfast is so lovely and immediately
