... ce que les gens disent » , I do travel widely and use a variety of accommodation, but this is probably the best I've stayed in, 5* hotels included. My daughter loved it too and was made very welcome. - Always clean and tidy, staff friendly and discerning in the way they responded to individuals, ie chatty if you wanted a chat, willing to give advise if requested. Well cooked and presented breakfast. Well positioned location and parking a bonus.

I did like the price. The hotel is in a perfect location, you can walk
anywherr from the beach to oceanarium or bournemouth baloon within 5-10
mintes, there is asda and subway nearby. So you can easly get the
essencial bits and bobs that u have forgoten to take for your holiday,
or pop in to subway for a quick sub. Thats all about location from me

Every thing. Staff, comfort, location, cleanliness, fresh towels daily, in room tea/coffee making facilities topped up daily.
Jorge was welcoming, friendly with good advice on where to go and how to get there. He prepared an early 7am breakfast and ordered a taxi for us on the morning of our departure as we had to catch an early train to London. Overall a very pleasent vacation and if we return to Bourne mouth we will definatly stay in the Shirley again.

A traditional family hotel run with so much care. Everywhere was spotless even the décor and lighting in extremely good order.- we didn't see one light bulb not working properly! Food excellent and staff so friendly. The garden facing the cliff top is wonderful and in good weather taking either morning coffee or afternoon tea it is so relaxing

Staff were friendly and very professional. I was running the Bournemouth Half Marathon on Sunday 6th October and I asked Petar on reception if it was possible to delay my checkout by an hour so I could come back to the hotel and shower. He was able to do this and I really appreciated it as I was travelling back to London.

Just like being at home, fabulous, the staff were very helpful with a relaxed but professional attitude.The breakfast was outstanding, more than we would have wished for..lovely fresh blueberries, strawberries and pineapple prepared with care. My husband had the English breakfast which was beautifully cooked to order and plentiful. Nice king size

I had booked a family room and on arrival we were shown both available
family rooms and were given the choice of which room we preferred - not
something I've experienced before. The room (12) was large, well set
up for a family of 1 or 2 adults and 2 children as there is a king size
double bed and two singles, with a pannelled wall separating adults from
children, whilst still being in the same room. Hotel very clean and
comfy for a family break.

Was very impressed by the helpfulness and politness of the staff and liked the services it provided. The facilities were also of a very good standard. - staff were very friendly, the food was abolutely excellent top marks to all the staff, these are the people that make any business succeed.

The beautifully decorated room. The breakfasts were amazing. Selection of juices, cereals and main courses for breakfasts were top notch. The 'landlady' was really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. - Really enjoyed the hotel. It is in a good location ear the beach, the owners are very friendly and ghelpful
