  i have syayed in a lot of hotels because of work, and this was the most comfortable clean and with very accomodating and friendly staff worth every penny - The stay got better the longer we were there. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.

  Good location: walking distance to the Piccadilly Station (about 15 mins, free bus runs on this route), close to the shopping district (about 10 mins). There are many small eateries close to the hotel and a Subway restaurant downstairs - we had breakfast there. Rooms well equipped - hairdryer, tea/coffee set. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and outgoing, which is a rarity nowadays in hotels with this star rating, it was more in keeping with a more expensive hotel or a higher star rating.   The hotel is ideally situated just between the very city centre and the universities, it's walking distance from major Manchester sites. The room was comfortable, clean and had tea facilities. Breakfasts were good (with a variety of options). The staff was very efficient, I especially would like to thank Joanna for her excellent work.
