The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. Requests were dealt with immediately and we even got a tour of the hotel as we were interested in the history and architecture. The location is ideal. The bedroom was not only huge but also very plush indeed and the en-suite was outstanding - you could literally see your reflection in the floor. Location is good for the east end of London as is only 5 mins walk from Tower Bridge.

We walked through the revolving doors and were met by a lovely lady who greeted us by name and showed us the hotel and finally to our room.
