  We liked the friendly staff,the beautiful restaurant, the tasteful Victorian decor and the position right on the seafront and proximity to shops.We liked the delicious food,the chef is first class.It was 'Alice Day' whilst we were there.The hotel staged 'The Mad Hatter's Tea Party' as a publicity photo shoot.We were fortunate enough to see this.It... ce que les gens disent » was really charming with Lewis Carroll's characters in this authentic setting, the actual place where the original Alice Liddell had actually stayed - The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were well equipped with Molton Brown toiletries which is always a bonus. Nice corner bath too. A few of us dined in the restaurant Sunday. Food very good as was the extensive wine list. The staff and owner were very friendly so will definitely return again.
