  Lovely welcome on arrival, very friendly and the cookie was amazing!! Such a nice little touch! We was on the 10th floor and pleasantly surprised with the view of the train station and city.   Though art deco is not really my style, I chose it just because it was the only hotel in the city center with no serious negative guest reviews. And indeed, the hotel was perfect in all aspects: friendly staff, spacious and well equipped room, clean, great location and view at a very good price.   Very enjoyable time at the Marriot, the service and room were as usual excellent all the staff were very helpfull and did all they could to make our stay a wonderful experience. The new to us, restaurant "Midtown Grill" was also excellent and the best Steak or Lamb I have had in a long time. - excellent staff

  I arrived about 12.30am in the morning, but the staff were very helpful & friendly, as I needed to park in the hotel carpark across the road. The room was tastefully decorated & relaxing. The bed was large & comfortable.There was a coffee machine & hot drink making facilities. A nice touch was the fresh milk in the fridge. The bed was amazing, hotel and restaurant had great decor and atmosphere. We stayed the week before in the Novotel Leeds which was £24 dearer and nowhere near the same standard, we would choose The New Ellington every time.

  A central well priced hotel with an excellent staff who were very helpful. The facility were above average. A very good stay thank you - The reception staff were awesome especially Innocent! Rooms impeccibly clean, god facilities, nice view and close to bus station.
