  We were very happy with our three night stay at Lancaster Gate Hotel and highly recommend it. The location is superb on a quiet street only a block from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. We had learned that there is variation in room sizes, but we were very happy with our spacious room and bath. People have commented on the expensive breakfast,... ce que les gens disent » but we were pleased to learn that the hotel offers three choices in the morning: a continental, a "light", and the full English breakfast. We enjoye - Hotel under renovations and road closed but it was never less good. An explanation of air conditioning would have been helpful. We saw 28 heat and thought it was ON so we were cold for a day. First time in 40 years of ANY hotel we we charged to store our luggage for a few hours--and also charged £10 an hours overstay when we requested late stay provided hotel not full. Our plane took off 6pm. Not a way to keep customers. On principle I would prefer to pay £25 more at the Radisson 4 stars nearby

  The location is great, a few bus stops from chief tourist attractions, walking distance from a very nice park (Regent park), very close to the Tube station (Baker St.). The bus on the way back from day trips into the city stops right at the door of the hotel - very convenient when you are tired from all the walking :) The room was tidy and comfort... ce que les gens disent » able, spacey (2 rooms), with lots of light, a little inner garden, a microwave and a bath tub. Very quiet too! The staff were helpful and friendly. - This is the second time I chose Marylebone Inn Hotel and I do not regret that choice. The hotel is superbly located in the city with a short walk to the underground, bus and other vehicles. The hotel staff is always friendly and welcoming and will help you with whatever it may be. The recent renovated rooms make the experience even better. If you want a central underlying hotel with good standard I recommend you to book next stay in London here.
