  This was an ideal basis for exploring London and especially only 5 mins walk from Sadler's Wells theatre. Even though this was an apartment there was a 24hour reception/concierge who was more than happy to help with queries and look after our luggage on check-out day. - Spacious 2 bed / bathroom apartment.   My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.   A great location, only 3 mins wall to Tower Hill tube and 6 mins to tower of London and London Bridafe and the southbank. We upgraded to executive room for £40 per night which was good value as it then gave us breakfast and complimentry drinks and food in a privare room between 5pm and 6pm on both nights.
