  We wanted a value-for-money place where we could arrive late and this was perfect. We had a double and 2 single rooms (allowing our grown-up sons not to share) for the same price as the budget chains with good facilities. Sleeping in the annex we were able to park outside the rooms. Happy to arrange for me to have meals in room due to having my spaniel along, and even supplying a snack for said dog! When I was delayed due to poor weather, staff waited up for my arrival and gave me a lovely warm welcome at the end of a difficult trip. Basically, make me feel as if I'm visiting with friends.

  Great location, helpful staff, warm and inviting environment in an excellent location. Building is old with character, but well maintained and appointed. - Friendly staff, willing to help with nice sense of humour. Rooms very comfortable, easy parking.

  Very friendly host, Carolyn. The accommodation was warm, clean and the breakfast was very nice. On-site parking was convenient. Places to eat a short (ten minute) walk away.
