  Great quirky place to stay. Terrific staff serving good beers and good food. Very handy for Gatwick (1st visit) or a handy stop over from the channel before driving north (2nd visit). Fabulous breakfast (although a bit slow) they made my wife a real fresh fruit yoghurt and I had a hearty calorie busting cooked breakfast with local produce. Coul... ce que les gens disent » d do with a handyman to tighten up the door handles and shower shelf, but it all added to the charm!! - Quiet, clean & comfortable room. Peaceful surroundings in a lovely position overlooking lake. The staff were professional, polite and helpful.Breakfasts were very good....good menu choices and beautifully presented. Enjoyed peaceful and leisurely breakfasts. Evening meal was very good too. Restaurant was very popular.
