  Stuart and Sarah made me feel so welcome from the start. They could not have been more helpful, especially with sorting out a menu for my guests, some of whom had food allergies. The room was warm, very comfortable with lots of cosy touches, and ample tea and coffee making facilities. I will be back. - Lovely grounds, good location handy for Eyemouth and the whole Borders region. Food pretty good. Small (only 4 rooms) with personal friendly service. Rooms comfortable. Nice bar with friendly and cosy ambience. Lots of parking. Located out of town in beautiful countryside - very peaceful, and lovely to sit outside in the sunshine. Wifi had good signal in public areas.

  Everything about The Anchorage was superb from the first greeting. We found everything to be spotlessly clean and comfortable. The care and attention to even the smallest detail was exceptional and Janice went out of her way to provide every possible thing that you could need.   Both ladies were just so welcoming and friendly, everywhere was clean and the bed was divine - so much room and so very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and the local knowledge they both had was invaluable for making plans. Location is excellent, easy to find, ample street parking & most important very quiet allowing a good nights sleep. We would have no hesitation in recommending Allan bank.
