The staff were excellent, very friendly and great service. We had dinner on one occasion and breakfast on both mornings of our stay at the hotel and all three meals wee superb. - easy to get to , facilities were very good. staff were very helpful as one of the 2 rooms booked did not get to the hotel system. It was remedied with no fuss or problem

Our 3rd floor room was clean, well equipped with towels and toilet
sundries. Heating system was excellent and we liked the facility of
being able to open the window for extra ventilation. The tea/coffee-
making facilities were very good and there was no problem obtaining

The staff were excellant, helpful and friendly. They gave us interconnecting rooms for us and our 2 grandchildren age 13 and 11 which was ideal. the room was pleasant and clean, it was in an ideal position for the shopping centre and the Mermaid Quay and the Dr Who experience all within easy walking distance. The breakfast was ok the continental part much better than the hot food.Good choice of drinks and proper orange etc. Good value for what we paid.

I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Would reccomend :o)

As with every time I stay there - and the main reason for always choosing this hotel in Cardiff - is firstly the "can do" attitude of the staff plus their 24/7 friendly and professional attitude, the ambience and peace of the Hotel and the feeling of security. - It was all a very enjoyable stay, from the room to the resturant.

Wet room was fine didnt have any problems with drainage etc, which I understand some people have had in the past. - The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is extremely modern and opened recently, so everything is new. The location is fantastic - right next to the Central Railway Station and bars of the City Centre.

Stayed for one night. From booking in to leaving each one of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable and there was extra pillows if you needed them . The bath was very comforable and quick filling. We loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast choices were excellent, with some healthy options. We were allocated a massive double room, (which was also designed to accommodate any disabled guests with wheelchairs) The bathroom was also very spacious indeed - and was a wet room style, with a very efficient shower. The hotel is very conveniently located for the major shopping precincts.

Nice welcome on arrival. Good sized room with everything you need for a
pleasant stay. Our room was on the road side of the building and as it
was a warm night we needed the window open. Noise from the traffic was

The staff. The General Manager (Gerry) and/or Neil were often present to ensure that the needs of our group of 8 "mature gentlemen" were catered for. All the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome.
We all enjoyed the breakfast and dinner experiences.
Thanks to the staff for helping to make a great rugby weekend - despite the result of the big match! We'll be back!
