  The Auld Cairn was being worked on when we arrived the worker let us in, our room was clean and comfortable, we ate next door the Merchant's place and the food and service was amaxing! The window in our room faced the road and the transport trucks went by all night, the other window faced the back and the garden view, was not so nice, im sure with... ce que les gens disent » some work it could be very nice. Grant arranged our taxi for us for the next morning as we had to catch the ferry. He was very helpful. - Lovely room. Very clean an comfortable. Lovely views from our room. Watched ferries pass at night. Quiet too. Had breakfast next door at the merchants house whose owners couldn't do enough. Lovely place too and both very friendly. I highly recommend the breakfast as well worth paying the extra. We had a meal too and this was excellent value for money. No faults whatsoever. Highly recommend.
